Kestrels Archery Club of Biggleswade & Sandy, Bedfordshire celebrated it's 25th anniversary in 2005.
We had various special events from fun days to introducing the St. George &
New National rounds at our annual open Albion and Double National record status competitions.
We also launched a new Portsmouth tournament in October, which is be a fun,
non-record status event.
Occasionally we get a visit from the flying variety of kestrel to
our outdoor shooting location.
Our members span all age groups, from youngsters of school age
to those who would prefer not to reveal their date of birth!
All skill levels are catered for, from beginners to master
bowmen, and help is always on hand for those times when all
is not going well.
We maintain a busy calendar including hosting
four open competitions, and running two beginners
courses each year, also if you host an event, we can run a
have a go at archery stall.
There are weekly indoor club nights in winter, and twice weekly outdoors in summer,
along with several club competitions, many of which are
handicapped to give archers of all ages and experience an equal chance. You can also

Kestrels are affiliated to GNAS the
governing body of archery in the UK, GNAS No. EA529 & EA1450 (juniors).
