Scoring

Scoring a round is dependent upon what the round is, but they generally fall into the four categories below.

GNAS 5 Zone Scoring
Used for outdoor GNAS Rounds
Faces are always 122cm
Scoring is as shown: 9 for gold, 7 red, 5 blue, 3 black, and 1 for white
FITA 10 Zone Scoring
Used for outdoor FITA/Metric and indoor Rounds
Faces can be 122cm or 80cm outdoors, 80cm, 60cm or 40cm indoors
Scoring is as shown: 10 for inner gold, 9 outer gold, 8 inner red, 7 outer red, and so on down to 1 for outer white
FITA Triple 5 Zone Scoring
Used for indoor FITA/Metric Rounds
Faces can be based on 60cm or 40cm, but since they only show the inner 5 scoring zones, are actually half the diameter
Scoring is as shown: 10 for inner gold, 9 outer gold, 8 inner red, 7 outer red, 6 for blue
Special Scoring
Used for special rounds, such as the Worcester
Various sizes, the Worcester face is 16 inches
Scoring for the Worcester is as shown: 5 for white, 4 for inner black, down to 1 for outer black
Other special rounds are Vegas and archery darts

Classifications

Classifications are available when shooting outdoor rounds and come with a badge to show that an archer has attained a certain level of skill, to qualify the archer must shoot three rounds of the qualifying score (or greater) within a year.

The classifications in ascending order are 3rd class, 2nd class, 1st class, then Bowman, Master Bowman, and Grand Master Bowman.
